ICC is specialised in the development, construction and management of logistics centers in Spain. In each of the projects we lead, we give access to partners such as investment funds sharing part of the risk of each operation.

ICC is made up of a multidisciplinary team, with a long experience in the identification and management of real estate projects. In this way, independent bodies certify the quality of projects on environmental issues, energy efficiency, water saving, interior design and innovation through certifications, such as LEED.

We assist in the technical definition of the building project and its facilities, as well as in the licensing and legalization of the asset. Our team

Jose Luis Martínez Sainz-Vizcaya

Founding partner with more than 20 years experience in the Real Estate sector. José Luis has worked for several international Development and Investment Funds such as IDI Gazeley Brookfield Logistics Properties, ING Investment Management, Rodamco NV, and Carvall Investors (Cargill).
Under his management in these companies, he has developed, acquired, managed and sold real estate assets from office, industrial, retail and residential sectors with a Net Asset Value of more than 3Bn€.

José Luis has a Doctorate in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. He holds a General Management Program from IESE Business School.

Jose Luis Mendoza

Founding partner with more than 20 year’s experience in the financial and real estate sectors. He was a Director and CFO of PROFIM a leading Financial Advisory firm. Previously he was CFO of Alius Inversiones, a Real Estate Development company during seven years.
He is a Civil Engineer and has an MSc in Structural Engineering from MIT as well as an MBA from INSEAD.

Iban Ortuzar

Iban is a founding partner of ICC and brings more than 25 years’ experience in managing and supervising investments. During his professional career, he has supervised the equity financing of numerous real estate transactions liaising with large Institutional Investors and Pan‐European Family Offices while acting as local operating partner.
Previously Iban worked at Private Equity group Inova Capital and Inversiones Ibersuizas where he was Investment Director. Before that he was involved in managing equity Mutual Funds at Baring Asset Management in London and brokering financial futures and options at FIMAT Futures (Soc. Générale Group).
Iban has a BSc in Economics (Hons) from Buckingham University (UK) and an MBA from IESE Business School (Barcelona)

Álvaro Plaza

Founding partner with more than 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, both in the corporate and investment areas, with an extensive track record in the management, acquisition, rent and sale of portfolios of real estate assets of different uses: logistics, offices, retail and residential.
He has undertaken key roles in CB Richard Ellis as executive director for a period of 14 years, Carvall Investors (Cargill) where he was the Senior Asset Manager, and in GBS Finance Investment Banking as Real Estate Director.
He has been a trusted advisor to several private family investment groups in different sectors. He has also been Acquisitions Director for Skipper Capital (EAFI).
Álvaro holds a Degree in International Business Administration from the American University of Paris, France. A.U.P.
He has carried out management and negotiation programs at IE (Instituto de Empresa).
